Sripad Vaishnav Maharaj gave a wonderful talk on Srila Govinda Maharaj’s Divine Appearance day in 2007. Here are some excerpts from that inspiring talk: “Everything transcendental is coming to us through Gurudev. He is…the center of our spiritual life, so everything has to be judged according to that.”
Srila Govinda Maharaj says, “Karmma and seva, action and divine service, are identical from the external perspective. Bhakti-yoga and karmma-yoga are the same apart from one thing—and that is the inner mood of the practitioner. The inner intention is the all-important, differentiating factor.”
Srila Govinda Maharaj describes how Sri Gadadhar Pandit was like Mahaprabhu’s shadow. He was always with Him. During their childhood they were students together, when Mahaprabhu took sannyas Gadadhar Pandit also took sannyas, and when Mahaprabhu decided to stay in Puri Dham, he also stayed.
